About The Gaming Artificer

An artificer builds things that feel like magic. That's the idea behind this shop.

The Gaming Artificer started as a way to bring two hobbies together: modding handheld consoles and building tabletop RPG adventures. Both are about taking something that already exists and making it feel like it was built just for you.

On the hardware side, we mod Nintendo handhelds, including Switch Lites, with custom shells, buttons, and displays. Every unit is disassembled, rebuilt, and fully tested by hand before it ships. If you'd rather send in your own console, our Ship In service lets you customize the console you already have.

On the tabletop side, we write made-to-order D&D one-shot adventures through One Shot Forge, built around the players, tone, and setting you want, so every session feels custom-made instead of pulled off a shelf.

Whether it's a console in your hands or a story at your table, the goal is the same: take something ordinary and make it feel a little enchanted.
